His sudden death comes after RadarOnline.com reported he was rushed to the E.R. Wednesday, February 27, after receiving a 911 call from his home. Hours later, sources said he was recovering from a stroke.
After the health crisis, Perry’s neighbor told RadarOnline.com exclusively that the Hollywood actor led a healthy lifestyle, but had previously undergone surgery for his ongoing back problems.
Perry was beloved by many, and will be remembered in Hollywood for his memorable performances in hit shows 90210 and Riverdale. This Sunday, his former costar Shannen Doherty opened up about his condition, saying she was in contact with him and hoping for his speedy recovery.
“I can’t talk about it here ’cause I will literally start crying but I love him and he knows I love him,” she told ET.
