This Sunday — just six days before the royal wedding — Lifetime aired its cheesy romance film based on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's scandalous relationship.

The movie, not-so-creatively titled Harry & Meghan, was riddled with inaccuracies, yet also filled with hilarious truths that royal fans cannot seem to get over. One of the most shocking truths was that Harry, 33, took Meghan, 36, on two back-to-back dates in London after meeting her for the first time. One of the biggest lies, was that Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton warned Harry about dating the former actress.

"Why are Will and Kate being made to look bad and rude in this movie?" wrote a viewer on twitter.

Probably the biggest issue that viewers had with the film was the bizarre cast. While Parisa Fitz-Henley is Meghan's exact lookalike, and Murray Fraser, Harry's less-royal twin, Burgess Abernathy looks nothing like Prince William!

"Is that William? ! #ARoyalRomance" wrote a Twitter user.

"Bootleg Kate actually looks like her, but I KNOW that's not supposed to be William??? Y'all let me down once again #harryandmeghan #ARoyalRomance" bashed another.

Lifetime went as far as to copy Meghan and Harry's royal engagement photos to promote the film, which only made online haters mock the rom-com even more.

"This is like the best Bachelor date ever. #ARoyalRomance #HarryandMeghan" joked a Twitter user.

"Half the time I'm yelling at the TV, the other half I'm like this is so spot on #HarryandMeghan #ARoyalRomance #LifetimeMovies" wrote another.

What did you think of the film based on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's relationship? Let us know in the comments below.
