'I'm Defending Myself!' Kim Richards Throws Huge Fit On 'Mother/Daughter Experiment'

Kim Richards is making a comeback on reality TV, this time for Lifetime networks' The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition.

For the show, the 51-year-old — who made her exit from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after a shoplifting arrest last summer — turns her attention to her rocky relationship with 21-year-old daughter Kimberly Jackson.

In an extended preview for the upcoming season, the drama is more intense then ever.

"Don't tell me what to do, I'm defending myself!" Richards yells at Jackson during one clip of a heated argument between the pair.

In another scene, Jackson pleads, "I want you to stay healthy always," referring to Richards' well-documented struggles with substance abuse.

As RadarOnline.com reported, the reality star was also arrested last April for trespassing and battery while resisting an officer. The mother-of-four later checked into rehab.

But hardship may continue through 2016 for Richards, whose ex-husband Monty Brinson (with whom she was very close with) passed away from cancer over the weekend.

"Yesterday I said goodbye to best the friend I've ever had in my life," Richards wrote to fans on Monday.

"Monty was an amazing person with an amazing soul... We shared over 30 years of Love & Happiness and brought a beautiful daughter into world," she continued. "I am so grateful for all that we shared. I know we will be together again one day. I love you Monty."

The Mother/Daughter Experiment: Celebrity Edition premieres March 1 at 10 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
