In the latest Kim Kardashian drama, the reality star has been put under fire for her controversial Vogue India cover shoot. In the spread, the 37-year-old reality star was seen posing nearly-naked while wearing a traditional lehenga.
The garment is a modern-day saree worn by Indian women for special occasions.
Following the release of the Vogue issue, readers and fans took to social media to bash Kardashian and the publication for the shoot.
“Umm Kim K for Vogue India? Wearing a lehenga?” wrote a Twitter user.
“We have so many GORGEOUS Indian women who could be on the cover of Vogue India but you put Kim Kardashian there. In 2018,” wrote another.
“India's Vogue should embrace and feature their own south Asian women instead of choosing someone from pop culture,” fired another.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, this is not the first time Kardashian has been criticized for cultural appropriation.
In 2017, she was bashed for her KKW Beauty ad in which she appeared to have much darker skin. She’s also recently been blasted for mimicking black culture with her blonde corn rows.
As if that wasn’t enough, the TV personality and beauty mogul is continually criticized for her X-rated naked snaps! As she showed some sexy skin on her latest high-fashion cover shoot, the star now has more provocative photos to add to her repertoire.
