Kate Hudson has given birth to her daughter with Danny Fujikawa and revealed the newborn's sweet, sentimental name.
"We have decided to name our daughter Rani (pronounced Ronnie) after her grandfather, Ron Fujikawa,” Hudson, 39, captioned an Instagram post showing the date 10-2-18.
“Ron was the most special man who we all miss dearly,” she added about her baby daddy's grandfather, who passed away in October 2012. “To name her after him is an honor.”
The How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days star announced in April she was having a girl. Little Rani is Hudson's first daughter — she's also mom to Ryder, 14, and 7-year-old Bingham.
“Everyone is doing well and happy as can be,” the proud mama said. “Our family thanks you for all the love and blessings that have been sent our way and we send ours right back."
