Kardashian Clan 'Embarrassed' By Kanye West's Bizarre Behavior & Backlash

Kanye West is facing intense backlash over comments he made about slavery during a shocking interview yesterday, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that wife Kim Kardashian and her famous family are "embarrassed" by the entire ordeal.

After admitting he underwent liposuction and got hooked on pain pills, West said during a live interview that slavery was a "choice" for African Americans.

Fans and even celebrities, including director Spike Lee and rapper Will.i.am, lashed out at West, claiming his statements were ignorant and harmful.

"A lot of what Kanye said yesterday came from the heart, but his comments on slavery just showed how incredibly detached he is from reality," a Keeping Up With the Kardashians family insider said. "He isn't listening to anyone, and this is just making everyone in the family so angry right now."

Even calculating Kardashian momager Kris Jenner, 62, is baffled about how to handle the chaos.

"He is getting so much hate over this that no one knows what to do, including Kris," the source said. "She doesn't know how to do damage control on this one. The whole thing is just such a huge mess for her to clean up."

In the meantime, Jenner has heightened security on West and on Kardashian, a source previously told RadarOnline.com.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Kardashian and her family are not only embarrassed, but worried about West's very public ranting and raving. The mom of three has been "babysitting" her husband in recent days, a source said.
