Germaphobe Justin Timberlake Demands Cleaning Crew Polish His Doorknobs
Justin Timberlake was fixated on ordering staff at the bombed Manchester Arena to polish his doorknobs — even though they were busy sorting out increased security at the venue!
The 37-year-old germaphobe singer’s rider, a source told RadarOnline.com, includes the stipulation that knobs on his dressing rooms and on any doors he has to walk through to go on stage are disinfected every two hours.
“Stars from around the world have performed at the Manchester Arena, so staff are well used to daft diva demands,” noted the source.
However, staff at the Manchester Arena were outraged they had to concern themselves with the demand while trying to ensure the safety of the crowd at his gig on Aug. 29.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Ariana Grande was performing at the same Manchester arena in May 2017 https://radaronline.com/exclusives/2018/05/ariana-grande-message-manchester-year-after-bombing/ when a suicide bombed the venue, killing 22 people and injuring scores more.
“It was seen as a distasteful that a rider was issued with this silly doorknob stipulation still included in light of the fact staff had a lot bigger concerns on their minds after last year’s bomb attack,” the source told RadarOnline.com.
“There was all sorts of extra security put on for the concert, including more guards, heightened monitoring of crowds on CCTV and bag checks," the source added. "Staff were up to their eyes, and yet they had to submit to pampering Justin.”
