Julie Chen’s Book Tour Cancelled After Husband Les Moonves’ Sexual Harassment Scandal

Julie Chen is suffering the consequences of her husband getting fired from the top job at CBS, as RadarOnline.com has learned that her upcoming book tour has been cancelled.
“Julie was expected to come to New York to do a press tour to promote her new children’s book. Now after her husband’s sexual abuse scandal everything has been cancelled,” sources tell STRAIGHT SHUTER.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Chen, 48, vowed to stand by her man, after CBS announced they were parting ways with 68-year-old Les Moonves after he was plagued by allegations of sexual harassment.
“Julie was scheduled to appear on all the CBS programs to plug her book starting with Gayle King on the morning show and ending with Stephen Colbert’s night show,” the source revealed.
But after 12 women claimed in articles published in The New Yorker that Moonves abused his power by harassing them, Chen’s plans changed, and she quickly walked away from her roles on CBS shows The Talk and Big Brother.
With her high profile suddenly gone, so too have her promotional opportunities.
“When you are married to the president of the network, no show on CBS passes on booking his wife,” Shuter’s sources revealed. “But now that he has gone, so have all Julie’s bookings.”
