Team-Up! Rivals Julia Roberts & Sandra Bullock Making A Film Together

It’s a team-up made in Rom-Com heaven! RadarOnline.com has learned Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock are making a film together.

“Julia and Sandra have been looking for a project to do together for some time,” sources tell STRAIGHT SHUTER. “They both know they are considered rivals, and in private might admit that it is true. However, neither one of them is getting offered great screen parts anymore, so teaming up together would give them both the role of a lifetime.”

The aging actresses have often shadowed each other on the big screen, but are finding less and less individual offers for starring roles. Bullock, 54, most recently headlined the all-women caper Ocean’s 8, while Roberts, 51, currently shines on the small screen in Amazon’s new series Homecoming.

Both roles, one an ensemble action flick and the other the lead on a specialized tv show, are examples of just how far the stars have moved beyond their romantic comedy headlining days, when the two would often compete for the same sexy characters.

And in a case of life imitating art, it seems their joint project may play to their frenemy relationship.

“The project is still being developed but it looks like the ladies will play sisters who hate each other,” Shuter’s source revealed. “Both beautiful and successful but jealous and obsessed with each other.”
