Joy-Anna Duggar Gives Birth To Baby Boy

Joy-Anna and Austin Forsyth have welcomed a baby boy, People.com first reported.

The Forsyths' first child arrived on Feb. 23. He clocked in at 22 inches long and weighing 10 lbs, 3 oz., according to the report.

The couple expressed their happy news in a statement.

"We are blessed beyond measure with the arrival of our son, Gideon Martyn Forsyth," the couple told People. "Looking at our child for the first time was such an incredible moment! God is so good, and we are so thankful."

The exciting news comes after the couple endured nine months of pregnancy filled with scandals. As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Joy-Anna, 20, and Austin, 24, had a shotgun wedding after the Counting On star announced she was expecting exactly three months to the day after the couple tied the knot last May.

The scandal left fans wondering if the Forsyths broke courting rules and jumped in bed before saying 'I do.'

Last year, Joy-Anna's husband admitted the couple didn't always follow Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar's courting rules.

"We don't always abide perfectly by our rules," Austin confessed.

Joy-Anna's little sis Jinger, married to Jeremy Vuolo, is also expecting. Last week, the TLC star shared with her fans that she hit the 18-week mark and her baby is the size of a bell pepper.
