John Cena & Nikki Bella Call Off Wedding, Split After 6 Years Together

John Cena and longtime girlfriend Nikki Bella have split. RadarOnline.com has sadly learned that after six years together, the pro wrestlers have decided to part ways — and call off their wedding.

"After much contemplation and 6 years of being together Nikki Bella and John Cena announced today their decision to separate as a couple," read a statement on Bella's Instagram this Sunday. "While this decision was a difficult one, we continue to have a great deal of love and respect for one another. We ask that you respect our privacy during this time in our lives."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Cena, 40, proposed to Bella, 34, on April, 2017, during a WrestleMania 33 match.

I found the absolute right person. A strong person that I consider an inspiration, an equal," Cena told reporters at the time. "Somebody who, when I'm feeling down, picks me up.

Before their shocking split, the WWE champ also told interviewers that he and Bella were "in a much different place" following a rough patch, and that he was excited to spend his life with her. During an appearance on the Today show last month he even said he wished he'd asked her to marry him sooner!
