Joe Giudice has a one-track mind when it comes to what will happen when wife Teresa is home from her prison sentence.
"We'll be spending a lot of time in the bedroom for awhile, that's for sure -- every night until I go in," said Joe, who's slated to enter prison after Teresa gets out in a few months, told E! News Thursday.
On a more touching note, the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who takes the blame for her conviction, said that since Teresa entered prison at the beginning of the year, he's been "like the mom" to the couple's four daughters -- Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana -- in her absence.
"I'm like the cheer mom," he said, adding that "it's exciting watching the cheer, because they're doing a lot of flips and all this other stuff ... I'm glad I was able to keep the girls together, and do what we have to do to get by until she gets home."
With a heavy heart, Joe admitted that "the last two years have been rough" in the wake of the family's legal troubles and subsequent convictions and prison sentences, as he misses his wife "every minute" of "every day.
"You're emailing, you're talking here and there, but it's not like she's here ... I always wish she was here."
The 43-year-old reality star said of Teresa's near return home, "I'm glad it's behind us," adding that he hopes the family can "start a new life, start all over again and put everything behind you and just hope it all stays nice."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Teresa, 43, is due to conclude her prison stint just before Christmas, on December 23. She will then wrap up the remainder of the sentence on home arrest. At that point, Joe will enter prison for a 41-month sentence, with the possibility for more due to a separate conviction, and potential deportation.
A new special, The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In, which airs on Bravo Sunday Oct. 11 at 8/7c.
