Jill Duggar Goes Back To Work As A Midwife
Jill Duggar has gone back to work as a midwife – in the wake of her disgraced husband Derick Dillard getting fired from Counting On.
Jill revealed this week that she's launched her own midwife service called Labor Sit, and on Instagram, she posted a photo of herself all smiles holding a big just-born baby in a blue blanket.
She captioned it, "Got to help deliver this chunker the other day!"
She implied that her own son Samuel didn't get in the way, writing, "Sam helped me #laborsit then napped like a champ when the time came! ;-)"
Jill, 26, and Derick, 29, have two sons, Samuel, nine months, and his older brother Israel, 3.
Derick got let go from the Duggar family reality show Counting On after his shocking social media attacks on fellow TLC star, transgender girl Jazz Jennings. And ever since, the Dillards haven't seemed very well employed!
They suffered backlash after Derick asked fans to donate money for various GoFundMe accounts in recent months.
After he was let go from TV in November, conservative Christian Derick asked followers via social media to donate $10,000 "to raise the funding I need for various missions opportunities I will have throughout the year. I have a donations goal of $10,000. This will enable me to fulfill my specific calling to ministry this year, including trips for Gospel-advancement and humanitarian work in Northwest Arkansas, North America, and abroad."

Some fans thought Derick begging for money looked tacky, but it's clear he and Jill have struggled with their finances since they aren't on Counting On anymore. Derick ran a marathon last weekend, showing he had time on his hands.
As viewers of the TLC show know, Jill previously got some midwife training, and has now turned back to birthing babies.
Although haters have claimed that Jill might not be properly trained and licensed for midwife work, she was happily posing with a just-born baby this week.
Some fans have noted that Jill has only been granted a CPM competency certificate, which is different from a Certified Nurse Midwife license, generally considered the standard in her field. It's been reported Jill doesn't have the more advanced CNM license, which requires a Bachelor's degree, one year of nursing experience, and three years in a nurse-midwifery program.
But now, Jill is running her own midwife service -- although strangely, the home birth enthusiast suffered complications in her own births and wound up having both her sons via C-section at the hospital.
As RadarOnline.com reported, fragile Samuel was hooked up to wires after his birth.
