Nasty Split! Jennifer Hudson Separates From Fiancé David Otunga After 10 Years Together
Jennifer Hudson and fiancé David Otunga have split after ten years together, RadarOnline.com can confirm.
Hudson’s rep revealed the news in a statement to PEOPLE, saying: “They have been in the process of ending their relationship for a number of months.”
The singer also “requested and received a protective order against her ex-fiancé.” Hudson, 36, and Otunga, 37, are parents to son David, 8, and according to the rep, her actions “are solely taken in the best interest of their son.”
Otunga’s attorney also released a statement following explosive news.
“Mr. Otunga has never abused or harassed Ms. Hudson or their son, and it is unfortunate, especially in today’s climate, that she would feel the need to make these false allegations against him,” Tracy M. Rizzo told PEOPLE. “Mr. Otunga looks forward to his day in court and in being awarded the residential care of the parties’ only child.”
