Jennifer Aniston reportedly visited her mom Nancy Dow once in just five years before hear 2016 death. And it turns out the A-lister has not changed her ways when it comes to keeping her family at a distance.
Sources exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that Aniston's aunt Mary recently passed away — and the star skipped out on attending the services!
According to multiple family insiders, her aunt, Mary Papasifakis, passed away in early November. Mary was the sister of Aniston's father, John Aniston.
The source revealed Papasifakis battled cancer for years, and even moved from Greece to the United States at one point to receive treatment.
"Originally it was esophageal cancer," the source told RadarOnline.com. "We thought it was cured but her heart became damaged."
Papasifakis then returned to Greece two years ago in December "so she could be with her sons for Christmas," the insider added. She ultimately passed away due to heart complications overseas.
However, during the "many" years Aniston's aunt received treatment somewhere in Pennsylvania, the source said the family did not hear a peep from Aniston.
"Jen did not visit her," said the source. "No one has spoken to Jen."
Services were held overseas in Greece, according to the insider. The insider confirmed Jen "did not go to the services."
This is the second death in Aniston's family she's been absent for in the last two years. Shortly after Dow passed away in 2016, RadarOnline.com reported that Aniston had been cut out of her mother's will.
But after allegedly shunning other sick relatives, RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed Aniston is terrified about her father's declining health. A source told RadarOnline.com the Friends actress is "desperate to treasure every last moment" with him.
According to the insider, Aniston only has stayed close with her father, who now lives in Los Angeles close to her.
