Meddling Mom! Jane Pitt Begs Jen Aniston To Call Her Desperate Son

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Jennifer Aniston was shocked to get a worried phone call recently from her ex-mother-in-law, Jane Pitt, about Brad.

“Jane knows Jen’s remarried,” to actor Justin Theroux, “but she believes she and Brad were meant to be together,” an insider told RadarOnline.com.

“She would love them to get back together—she loves Jen like a daughter and always will.”

However, Jane is well aware there’s almost no chance the former Hollywood golden couple will ever reunite at this point, even though her son currently is going through a nasty divorce from Angelina Jolie.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Pitt’s ongoing troubles are taking a toll on his appearance. He recently shocked onlookers when the 53-year-old actor stepped out looking extremely gaunt.

“Jane’s devastated at the state her son’s in, he is just not doing well right now, and she’s begged Jen to please take him under her wing and help him get back on his feet,” said the insider.

"Despite the terrible way Brad treated her, Jane and Jen have never lost contact.”

So did Aniston, 48, help out her ex’s worried mom?

“Jen has been in touch with Brad,” noted the insider, adding the actress could now decide to keep in touch more often than she has in the past.

“While she’ll never go back to him, there’s definitely been a lift on the no-contact rule from her inner circle," said the source.
