Jenelle Evans’ ‘Insensitive’ Husband DEFENDS Gun Use After Florida School Shooting

David Eason caused controversy when he posted a photo of his wife Jenelle Evans shooting a gun only hours after 17 people were shot to death at a Florida school. Now, the Teen Mom 2 husband is receiving even more backlash by defending gun use.
Eason, 29, posted a meme on Instagram that read, “Legal gun owners have over 200M guns and 12 trillions rounds of ammo. Seriously people, if we were a problem you’d know it.”
He then wrote, “Everyone needs to focus on keeping their family protected and safe instead of focusing on how to deplete our country of its self protection rights!”
Fans slammed Eason in the comments.
“You done lost it. How insensitive,” one follower wrote, as a second asked, “Would you have the same opinion if one of your children died in a school shooting?”
A third wrote, “You’re disgusting.”
Only hours after the massacre, Evans, 26, and Eason posted a photo of her shooting a gun.
“My babes a bad ass babe! Happy Valentine’s Day! #targetpractice #valentinesday #safetyfirst,” he captioned the disturbing snap.
When they received backlash, Evans deleted the photo while Eason turned off the comments. He even made the photo his Twitter profile picture.
Eason defended himself by writing, “What do you think I sit around all day watching TV to check the news before I post a picture… um no b***h.” Evans added, “Bad timing.”
