The dramatic I Am Jazz season 5 trailer is here — and it is more emotional than anyone imagined!
In the new episode, the gorgeous start turns 18, undergoes gender confirmation surgery and reveals a hot new boyfriend!
“You cannot be prepared for the surgery, it was brutal” says a family friend after talking to Jazz’s worried mother about the process.
Soon, Jazz is seen battling with excitement and doubt as doctors, friends and professionals advise her to wait a few more years before getting the complex procedure.
“I’ve been waiting for this my whole life and now it’s time,” she says, clearly feeling down after hearing people’s negative reactions.
Days before heading to the hospital for the surgery, Jazz’ mom, Jeanette Jennings, tells her Julie Chen wants to interview her about the procedure. But it doesn’t take long before the family realizes that what was meant to be a “fluff piece” was really just an insensitive interrogation!
Regardless, Jazz decides to go through with the surgery.
“She’s the most difficult case that I have encountered,” says a physician as the cameras show footage of an unconscious Jazz lying in the hospital bed surrounded my doctors. “She’ll be experimental.”
Her family waits outside.
“I don’t even want think about what’s going on,” says the star’s mother.
While Jazz’s family members are there to support her the entire way, they aren’t the only people cheering for the stunner. In a shot from inside the hospital, Jazz is seen holding hands with a handsome hunk: her new boyfriend!
“There’s a boy in the picture now,” says an excited Jazz.
“I feel like I’ve been ready to fall in love for so long. It’s like the ultimate connection,” she adds as clips of them looking sweet together flood the screen. “Amir just gets me and I get him.”
Then, viewers see a scene of Jazz happily chatting with some of her closest girlfriends. “Have you kissed him?” they ask. “Yes, I’ve kissed him a lot,” answers Jazz.
