Pro-Golfer Lucas Glover's Wife Arrested For Attacking Him & Mom After Championship

The wife of pro golfer Lucas Glover was arrested this Saturday and charged with battery after she allegedly attacked him and his mother, RadarOnline.com has learned.

Krista Glover was released from police custody on Sunday, after posting $2,500 in bonds, according to PEOPLE.

Lucas confirmed the news on Twitter, writing: "On May 12, my wife and mother were involved in an argument to which the police were called," he tweeted. "Everyone is fine. Regrettably, although Krista was charged, we are comfortable that the judicial system is able to address what actually happened and Krista will be cleared in this private matter."

"We thank you for respecting our privacy as we work through this unfortunate situation," he added.

According to the Associated Press, Krista attacked Lucas' mother, Hershey Glover, after she came between the married couple in an argument.

The argument reportedly came after Lucas Glover missed the 54 hole cut at The Players Championship in Ponte Vedra Beach. The golfer previously confessed to the Miami Herald that his wife, Krista Glover, often gets violent when he doesn't play well in tournaments.
