‘Humiliated’ Georgina Chapman Breaks Down In Tears About Harvey Weinstein Scandal

Months after Harvey Weinstein was publicly blasted for sexually harassing dozens of women, his estranged wife, Georgina Chapman, has finally spoken out.

During an explosive interview with Vogue, the gorgeous Marchesa designer broke down in tears, saying she was “humiliated” and “broken” by her husband’s sick acts.

“I was so humiliated and so broken . . . that . . . I, I, I . . . didn’t think it was respectful to go out,” Chapman, 42, said, explaining why she’d been in hiding for the past five months.

“I thought, ‘who am I to be parading around with all of this going on?’ It’s still so very, very raw. I was walking up the stairs the other day and I stopped; it was like all the air had been punched out of my lungs.”

The businesswoman then confessed that she’d finally decided to see a therapist, though at first, she couldn’t because she was “too shocked.”

“I somehow felt that I didn’t deserve it,” Chapman admitted. “And then I realized: ‘This has happened. I have to own it. I have to move forward.’”

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Chapman left Weinstein, 66, after a series of young women came forward to accuse him of sexual harassment and misconduct in the workplace.

He eventually apologized for his acts, saying he would be attending rehab for his alleged sex addiction.

“There was a part of me that was terribly naive—clearly, so naive. I have moments of rage, I have moments of confusion, I have moments of disbelief! And I have moments when I just cry for my children. What are their lives going to be?” Chapman said between tears.

“What are people going to say to them?” she added. “It’s like, they love their dad. They love him.”

“I just can’t bear it for them!” said Chapman during her heartbreaking meltdown.

The designer shares daughter India, 7, and son Dashiell, 5, with the shamed film director.

Georgina Chapman also confessed during her interview that when the Weinstein scandal first broke, she lost 10 pounds in five days. Luckily, it also sparked the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, which she greatly supported.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, celebrities began boycotting Marchesa after Weinstein was bashed for his inappropriate sex acts.

Just this Monday at the Met Gala, Scarlett Johansson became the first A-lister to wear Chapman’s glamorous designs following the chaos! Vogue Editor-In-Chief Anna Wintour publicly supported her choice, saying Chapman was a beautiful designer who did not deserve to suffer the consequences of her husband’s horrible decisions.

Stay strong Georgina!
