George Michael splashed out more than $1.2 million on male escorts in the last 12 years of his life!

That's the claim of gay porn star Paul Stag — who exclusively told RadarOnline.com he serviced the "Careless Whisper" singer as often as once a week.

The veteran escort said he met Michael through a gay magazine in 2004 — and the Wham! star was so terrified his passion for gay prostitutes would be exposed that he wore a ski mask during the first three years of their torrid romps.

"He wore a disguise and I had no idea it was him," Stag, 49, told RadarOnline.com. "So he was just like an average Joe to me. It didn't register it was George Michael!"

What's more, a source close to Michael has divulged the troubled performer sometimes ordered a high-class gigolo every day for weeks when he was in a drug-fueled frenzy of "horniness and loneliness."

Michael was found dead in bed at his Oxfordshire home at age 53 on Christmas Day 2016 by his on-off lover Fadi Fawaz, 45.
