George Clooney Living In Fear After Terrifying Back-To-Back Bomb Scares
George and Amal Clooney have ramped up their personal security after being rocked by back-to-back bomb scares!
Sources said the power couple is desperate to protect their 16-month-old twins, Alexander and Ella, after George was targeted by so-called "MAGA bomber" Cesar Sayoc and a set of explosives were found near their mansion on Italy's Lake Como.
Sayoc, who allegedly sent suspicious devices to 14 celebrities and politicians, also reportedly compiled a list of another hundred potential victims.
And after the Gravity star was injured in a scooter accident in July, Sayoc posted to his now-deleted Twitter account: "It a big celebration George Clooney crashes and should have died. We almost had a super celebration prayers answer Hollywood slime of the century died. His time coming … awesome."
Those chilling words came on the heels of a real-life scare at the Clooneys' Italian home in March! Authorities were called to remove unexploded bombs from the popular lake near their estate and evacuated the town of Laglio during the delicate operation.
Investigators believed the devices had been dropped in the '40s during World War II.
"The bombs were a huge scare for the whole community," said a local source. "George and Amal's home backs directly onto the lake.
Officials said the bombs were still dangerous and could have exploded at any time."
The Oscar-winning actor, 57, has owned the lakeside property Villa Oleandra since 2002.
The incident was the second time a bomb squad had been called to the area. Unexploded devices were also found in the lake in 2010, and in recent years, an unidentified human skull and a girl's body have also washed ashore.

According to Laglio's mayor, Roberto Pozzi, authorities aren't positive Lake Como is completely clear of explosives — even now.
"We don't know of any more bombs in the lake," he admitted, "but we can't rule out that more could be discovered."
