‘Flip Or Flop’ Ending? Tarek Launches Solo Show as Christina Debuts Another Boyfriend!
Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s HGTV hit show, Flip or Flop, may finally wrap up for good, a production source exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com.
Around the same time Christina debuted her hunky British TV presenter boyfriend, Ant Anstead, Tarek announced some major personal news himself: he has launched his own show sans Christina titled, Pick Me Up Project.
Unlike Flip or Flop, Tarek’s new project has nothing to do with home renovation. Instead, the cancer survivor's using his TV chops to help real people struggling with everyday problems.
“The experience of dealing with cancer treatment made me realize that nothing is more important than my family,” Tarek said in a video to his fans. “I also made a commitment that one day when I was in a position to assist others I would do so. I feel that my purpose is to give back, lend a hand and really help others and that is exactly why I’m here today. This is my pick me up project.”
However, a production source close to the HGTV co-stars admits the timing of Tarek’s launch is telling – and it has something to do with Christina’s hunky new boy toy.
“There’s nothing that could worry Tarek more than feeling inadequate and Christina’s new man Ant could definitely challenge that,” the insider dished. “Just on paper you can argue that Ant might be more successful than Tarek or at least more famous, which would 100 percent make Tarek more jealous.”
As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported, Christina is “definitely happy” with Anstead, who is recently divorced. Anstead splits his time living between the UK and Newport Beach, California.

So what does this all mean for the future of Flip or Flop? The production source admitted to RadarOnline.com that the show’s longevity isn’t exactly stable.
“Tarek launching a new show on his own is proof he’s preparing for life after Flip or Flop because he knows the show has an expiration date,” the insider added. “He knows he needs something to keep his fame moving forward.”
In addition, the source revealed that “superficial” Christina has always been more concerned with men and money than the HGTV show.
“Money rules Christina’s life so dating a guy with his own money and success can play very well into her goal of becoming a singular brand not tied to Tarek,” claimed the source.
Just last month, Tarek exclusively revealed to RadarOnline.com that he and Christina lead separate lives. He also dished that while the exes are “open” to filming a season 8 of Flip or Flop, the show’s future hasn’t been discussed.
“We aren’t in those discussions yet with our network,” he exclusively revealed.
