Dakota & Elle Fanning’s Parents Finalize Divorce After 25 Years Of Marriage

Dakota Fanning and Elle Fanning are going through a difficult time when it comes to their family lives, RadarOnline.com has learned. This Tuesday, The Blast reported that after 25 years of marriage, the actresses’ parents became officially divorced.

Steven and Heather Fanning’s “marital or domestic partnership status is terminated and the parties are restored to the status of single persons,” according to court documents obtained by the publication.

“Irreconcilable differences have arisen between the parties which led to the irremediable breakdown of the marriage, making it impossible for the parties to live together as husband and wife,” the documents stated.

Their divorce was finalized on august 24, and neither are seeking spousal support or child support.

While this may come as a shock to the young stars, RadarOnline.com has learned that their parents have been battling through a rocky marriage for quite some time. In 2016, Steven filed for divorce though he and Heather later reconciled. Then, this January, he filed once again—this time, for good.

As for the Hollywood actresses, they are more than busy with their hectic filming schedules.

Elle Fanning, 20, is currently filming Maleficent 2 with costar Angelina Jolie. Meanwhile, Dakota Fanning, 24, is on the set of TNT’s The Alienist, a crime series which premiered this January.

They have yet to speak out about their parents’ recent split.
