Ed Westwick Under Investigation By Prosecutors After Explosive Rape Accusations

The Los Angeles District Attorney’s office is investigating rape allegations against Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick, RadarOnline.com has learned.

As reported last week by US Weekly, the case was submitted by the Los Angeles Police Department on Tuesday, March 20, and is currently under review.

RadarOnline.com readers remember that Westwick, 30, faces accusations of sexual assault or rape from at least three women, including Rachel Eck, who as a 23-year-old executive assistant at the time alleged the star “sexually assaulted” her at a party in West Hollywood.

Eck claimed Westwick “aggressively groped” her inside a swanky Hollywood hotel room in 2014 — the same year that two other women, Kristina Cohen and Aurélie Wynn, were allegedly raped by the actor.

The actor, who was fired from the BBC’s Ordeal by Innocence after the allegations surfaced, tweeted at the time that the additional allegations were untrue.

“It is disheartening and sad to me that as a result of two unverified and provably untrue social media claims, there are some in this environment who could ever conclude I have had anything to do with such vile and horrific conduct,” he wrote. “I have absolutely not, and I am cooperating with the authorities so that they can clear my name as soon as possible.”
