E! Nervous About Ryan Seacrest's Oscar Red Carpet Gig Amid Sexual Harassment Scandal

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

E! is "freaking out" about Ryan Seacrest going live on the Oscars red carpet! A source exclusively told RadarOnline.com that the network is nervous about the host's upcoming gig following his sexual harassment scandal.

"It's live, and celebs can say anything," stated the insider. "Debra Messing embarrassed E! when she spoke out about Catt Sadler's pay gap scandal live."

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Variety published a report this Monday about a former stylist who claimed Seacrest, 43, sexually harassed her. Among other things, the woman claimed the TV star groped her vagina. (The star has denied the allegations, and an independent investigation found there was "insufficient evidence" to support her claims.)

After the drama, Seacrest's coworkers stood by his side, as did the network. On this Tuesday's Live! show, cohost Kelly Ripa even refused to address the sexual harassment rumors!

"The plan is to have Ryan only interview celeb friends that he can trust," added the source.

An E! spokesperson told RadarOnline.com Seacrest will "host as usual," and the network is "absolutely not pulling him" from his red carpet job.
