Diddy’s memorial for his beloved Kim Porter on Sunday was “heartbreaking,” an insider shared exclusively with RadarOnline.com about the sad event.
“Everyone was crying so much and everyone feels terrible for the kids,” the source said about Diddy’s event where his many celebrity friends joined him to remember Porter, the mother of three of his children, who passed away on November 15, 2018.
“They were all seeming in shock but sort of too young to understand what is going on,” the source said about 11-year-old twins Jessie James and D’Lila. Porter and Diddy also shared son Christian, 20. She also had a 27-year-old son, Quincy.
Diddy displayed beautiful framed photos of Porter in his Beverly Hills mansion, from various photo shoots and of the two of them together.
“It was such an elegant event, a wonderful tribute to her,” the insider told RadarOnline.com.
Kimora Lee Simmons attended the brunch at Diddy’s house and Russell Simmons, who was out of the country, told RadarOnline.com: “Puff, his kids, my kids and Kimora, everyone I know is devastated. Including me.”
Diddy’s A-list friends attended the memorial of the 47-year-old who passed away after reportedly suffering from pneumonia for weeks, including Jay Z, Quincy Jones, Queen Latifah, Chris Rock, Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige and Rashida Jones, Access Hollywood reported.
Diddy posted about Porter on his Instagram account after the gathering.
"For the last three days I’ve been trying to wake up out of this nightmare," the rapper wrote and posted a video of them together with the song "When U Cry."
“But I haven't. I don’t know what I’m going to do without you baby. I miss you so much. Today I’m going to pay tribute to you, I’m going to try and find the words to explain our unexplainable relationship. We were more than best friends, we were more than soulmates. WE WERE SOME OTHER S–T!! And I miss you so much. Super Black Love.”
Authorities have not yet released her official cause of death.
