Finally, some good news for Demi Lovato. Los Angeles cops exclusively told RadarOnline.com that there will no criminal investigation into her drug overdose on Tuesday.

"There is no investigation," Officer Brown of the LAPD told RadarOnline.com. "If there was criminal activity, LAPD gets involved. If there was no criminal activity, we don't get involved."

On July 24, the LAPD confirmed exclusively to RadarOnline.com that the 25-year-old singer was rushed to the hospital around 11:30 am for an overdose.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Lovato partied with pals at the Saddle Ranch in Hollywood, drinking vodka sodas throughout the night. She later brought the party home to her Hollywood Hills mansion.

Her family revealed Tuesday evening that Lovato is now awake and recovering. She will soon check into rehab outside of L.A., an insider told RadarOnline.com.

A source previously told RadarOnline.com she relapsed earlier this year after neglecting her recovery program, and soon spiraled out of control.
