The duo's 30-point quickstep, Bruno said, was "better than ever" and "really fantastic;" After a second-place finish in the cha cha, which netted them an extra four points, their coup de grace freestyle got them 30 points, and had Carrie Ann weeping.

"You just bared your soul on the dance floor and it was one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen," Carrie Ann said.

"Good dancing engages the brain," Len told the pair, adding "great dancing engages the heart."

Hot on Kellie's tail was Zendaya, who was perfect in all her routines Monday, topped off by a freestyle that left the judges with their jaws on the floor.
