'RHOA' Drama Alert! Phaedra Parks Reveals The Truth About Cynthia & Peter's Marriage
Dec. 31 2015, Updated 3:28 p.m. ET
In a recent episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Cynthia Bailey, 47, and Peter Thomas, 55, decided to work on their marriage. Was this the right decision for them to make?
According to Phaedra Parks, 44, it’s up to Bailey to decide if she is in the relationship for the long haul.
“I don’t have to live with Peter and she does,” Parks said during an interview with OKMagazine.com. “So marriage is not easy, but as a wife, when you take those vows, you have to make a commitment and only you can decide when it’s time to leave."
It’s Bailey’s life, and she has to handle the situation how she sees fit.
“I can’t make judgments for her because she has to live with her decisions,” Parks explained. “I don’t. So if she wants to be with Peter, have at it. I wish them the best.”
Earlier in the season, Bailey admitted to no longer being attracted to her husband.
But Parks believes that Thomas doesn’t need any advice on how to spice up his personal life.
“I think Peter is a very interesting guy,” she said. “He’s very fiery. He’s a Jamaican man, so I’m sure he has no problems bringing the fire.”
“I’m not sure what’s going on, but he’s an attractive man,” she continued. “He dresses well and I’ve never smelled … anything but nice.”
While Parks weighs in on her costars’ marriage, she is also battling demons afflicting her own marriage.
Nearly a year ago, Parks claimed that she was going to divorce her husband Apollo Nida, 37, who is currently serving an 8-year prison sentence for federal fraud related charges.
But Parks has yet to file the paperwork.
RHOA airs on Bravo Sundays at 8 PM ET.
