Cindy And Rande’s Make-Or-Break Vacation To Save Marriage

As Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber strolled the sands of Miami, while their equally attractive teenage protégés laid out by the pool, they were finally able to bare their souls to each other — piecing out the family issues plaguing their longtime partnership. With their 20th wedding anniversary just weeks away, pals of the couple tell RadarOnline.com that they refuse to throw in the towel — hoping their make-or-break family vacation would forge a new beginning.

“They flew down to Miami Beach with the kids as a way to patch up their relationship and get back to basics,” spills an insider. “Cindy and Rande are committed to making it work, and getting together as a family has been another bolster.”

The brunette beauty, 52, and her businessman beau, 55, needed some quality time with their kids after 18-year-old son Presley’s decision to pursue a modeling career became a constant point of contention.

Though Presley scored screen time in Pepsi’s 30-second Super Bowl spot alongside his mother, his career can’t be compared to that of his 16-year-old sister Kaia. With 3 million-plus Instagram followers, she’s walked for major fashion houses such as Prada, Chanel and Versace, and graced the pages of Vogue.

“Presley’s career hasn’t taken off the way Kaia’s has, and Rande was hinting that maybe he should try something else,” whispers a source. “But Cindy believed their son should keep at it.”

The vacation, according to our source, gave them time to sort out such issues.

“Cindy gets so bogged down with the kids, the house and all their problems that she takes it out on Rande, and Rande reacts by staying away and not communicating,” explains the power couple’s pal.

“But they really do love each other, so they’re learning to cut each other some slack.”

The children, however, haven’t been the pair’s only point of contention. Just last summer, RadarOnline.com reported that the two hit an all-time low — culminating with Cindy getting rowdy at a concert at the Malibu Inn.

She was spotted flirting with band members of the Terraplane Sun before blurting out: “My marriage is over!” as Rande looked on from afar, seemingly unfazed.

“They still do things that annoy each other, and it’s far from perfect,” reveals our tattletale, alluding to RadarOnline.com’s previous reports of Rande’s alleged infidelities. The nightclub impresario, who’s reportedly been dubbed “Mr. Hands On” by his female staff, was sued for sexual harassment by former employees in 2009, though he denied the charges.
