Chris Watts has been sentenced to life in prison following the horrific murders of his wife, two daughters and unborn child. Now, in an exclusive interview with RadarOnline.com, his former neighbor reveals she is "relieved" the cold-blooded killer is being locked away for good.

Cheryl Hallowell, who lives two doors down from Watts, 33, in Frederick, Colorado, told RadarOnline.com that she was in tears when she heard the news.

"My husband, he called me and told me that he got a life sentence and said 'thought you should know so you could be relieved,'" Hallowell, 68, explained. "I was already crying because I so was happy."

Despite Watts being sentenced to life at the Colorado state prison, Hallowell believes he should've been given the death penalty.

"I just wish we had the death penalty," she said. "I hope somebody kills him in prison. It's just wasted space. This guy killed kids, he was just really bad. Nobody understands why he had to kill them."

Hallowell previously told RadarOnline.com that the crazed killer had come to her house before to help her move some furniture, adding that he seemed "perfectly normal."

"I'm relieved to know that he will never be out again. We are happy that our neighborhood is safer," she admitted. "He won't be coming to this neighborhood in my lifetime."

Shanann Watts, her two young daughters, Bella 4 and Celeste 3, were strangled to death in their Colorado home on the night of August 13.
