‘Come Out Peacefully!’ Cops Slap Chris Brown With Search Warrant As Standoff Explodes
Sept. 1 2016, Updated 7:28 p.m. ET
Cops have obtained a warrant to search Chris Brown’s home, after claims he held a gun to a female friend’s head, RadarOnline.com has learned.
"We are currently conducting an investigation at the residence of Mr. Chris Brown,” LAPD spokesperson Chris Ramirez told Radar. "Detectives are currently serving the search warrant and trying to get the occupants and Mr. Chris Brown to cooperate with our investigation to find out if there’s any type of relation to what occurred this morning.
Asked whether they found drugs or guns at the scene, Ramirez said, "To my knowledge have not heard that, cannot confirm that."
Cops have been at Brown’s Tarzana home since early Tuesday morning, after former beauty queen Baylee Curran claimed the volatile singer held a gun to her head during an altercation inside.
Brown then posted an inflammatory video on Instagram, and tossed a duffel bag out of the window of the home at one point.
But once his attorney, Mark Geragos, arrived on the scene, Ramirez said that tensions abated.
"Right now with the cooperation of Mr. Brown’s representatives and attorneys, there’s a mutual cooperation,” he said, confirming that they were working on a deal for Brown and his associates “to come out peacefully.”
Story developing.
