Catelynn Lowell Suffers Miscarriage: ‘I Really Wanted That Baby’

Catelynn Lowell has suffered a miscarriage. In a preview for next week’s Teen Mom OG, Lowell and her husband Tyler Baltierra break down over the heartbreak.

“I really wanted that baby,” Baltierra cried.

The preview then cut to Lowell crying hysterically in her car.

Earlier in the season, Lowell announced her third pregnancy on an episode. Viewers speculated Lowell suffered a miscarriage, as the couple never confirmed their pregnancy on social media.

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup was the first to report on the miscarriage.

“It is actually really sad,” a source told the blog. “Catelynn got pregnant and surprised Tyler and Nova and then had a miscarriage not long after. That happened right before she went to treatment in November when she tweeted about killing herself.

Although crew and production heard she was “six weeks pregnant when it happened,” the insider explained, “No one is 100 percent sure.

Lowell checked into rehab for the first time on November 17 for suicidal thoughts.

“I thought of every way possible to commit suicide, from wrapping a belt around my neck to just running my car into an electric pole,” she said.

Weeks after leaving treatment, she checked into rehab for a second time on January 17 to work on “childhood trauma.”

A source close to Lowell previously told RadarOnline.com that she entered rehab again because her suicidal thoughts were “so strong.”

“Last time was too close of a call,” the insider said. “It’s going to take more than a few weeks of therapy to help her recover. If not, he said that she said she’s afraid that things like this will always occur.”
