Catelynn Lowell May Have Suffered Miscarriage Before Rehab Stint
Catelynn Lowell checked into rehab twice since November after experiencing suicidal thoughts. After a Teen Mom OG clip aired of her daughter wearing an “I’m going to be a big sister shirt,” did a possible miscarriage lead to her rehab stints?
In a preview for next week’s episode, Lowell tells Baltierra that Nova, 3, is going to be a big sister.
But the couple never announced a pregnancy, as Lowell checked into rehab for the first time on November 17 and then the second on January 17.
“It is actually really sad,” a source told The Ashley’s Reality Roundup. “Catelynn got pregnant and surprised Tyler and Nova and then had a miscarriage not long after. That happened right before she went to treatment in November when she tweeted about killing herself.”
Although crew and production heard she was “six weeks pregnant when it happened,” the insider explained, “No one is 100 percent sure.”
Lowell revealed earlier this month that she entered rehab for the third time to work on “childhood trauma.”
A source close to Lowell previously told RadarOnline.com that she checked into rehab again because her suicidal thoughts were “so strong.”
“Last time was too close of a call,” the insider said. “It’s going to take more than a few weeks of therapy to help her recover. If not, he said that she said she’s afraid that things like this will always occur.”

Lowell will work on “trying to accept her upbringing, the adoption and all of the trauma.”
“There is a lot of deep-rooted stuff going on,” the source said. “This is pretty much her ultimate comeback. She wants to make sure she’s at 100 percent before she leaves treatment and unfortunately she isn’t that confident in her overall mental health yet.”
Lowell and Baltierra have yet to comment on the miscarriage rumors.
The news comes just says after Maci Bookout revealed she suffered a miscarriage on this week’s episode.
