Casey Kasem’s Widow Claims She Has Proof Kids & Church Of Scientology Murdered Him!

The widow of Casey Kasem said she has evidence to prove her step children and other members of the Church of Scientology were involved in a plot to murder the famed radio DJ in order to take control of his multimillion dollar estate.

Jean Kasem, 64, appeared in Los Angeles Superior Court on Wednesday, November 28 to discuss her petition to be placed as the sole executor of her late husband's estate, which is now under the control of one of Kasem's children, Kerri.

At the hearing, Jean's attorney, Sanford Passman, said the issue of who would take over the estate is largely moot because the only property in contention is Casey's multimillion dollar home. Passman said in the past three and a half years, his client has yet to receive a detailed list of her late husband's purported assets from the trustee of the estate, who was hired by Casey's three grown children -- Kerri, Mike and Julie.

Troy Martin, the attorney representing Kerri, Mike and Julie, said during the hearing that the issue on who should have control over the estate should be placed on hold until the courts address the "300 pound gorilla in the room” -- the ongoing wrongful death suit filed by Kerri against Jean.

Martin also alleged that Jean took out about $1 million out of Casey’s bank account in February 2014 and $1.4 million in March 2014. He said they have the bank receipts to prove it.

Judge Clifford Klein asked both sides to return to court on February 27 to further discuss issues concerning the estate.

After the hearing, Jean told RadarOnline.com that she was pleased that prosecutors in Pierce County, WA have opened up an investigation concerning her late husband's death. As RadarOnline.com readers know, Jean claims Casey's grown children, their attorney and other members of the Church of Scientology allegedly were involved a "cash grab" over the radio DJ's $2.1 million life insurance policy.

Martin told RadarOnline.com that he is not a member of the Church of Scientology and Kerri has been involved in the church because she has found comfort in the religion.

"I am not a Scientologist," Martin told RadarOnline.com exclusively. "I am Jewish. Julie and Mike are not Scientologists. Kerri is a Scientologist because she has found peace by being involved in the church... Scientology has nothing to do with this case. What this case is about is Jean Kasem, against doctor's orders, moved Casey Kasem from a hospital, took him on the road from Las Vegas... and he developed severe bedsores and multiple infections. She hid him from the children against court orders, and by the time we got up to Washington, we found him and took him to the hospital. He was dying because of the negligent elder abuse that Jean provided."

Martin said he expects Pierce County prosecutors will not file a case against his clients. The attorney added he believes the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office declined to file an elder abuse case against Jean because the case was "too hot for them."

"Much like the families of Ron Goldman and Nicole Simpson had to do, we've had to file a civil action," Martin said. "When Jean Kasem says this is all about money... there is nothing that these children want more than to see Jean Kasem behind bars, but since we have been denied that ability, we are going to hit Jean Kasem where it hurts. We are going to hit her in the money because that is all she understands."

Passman, however, said no one will come out as a winner in the wrongful death suit.

"I've been doing this for 41 years," Passman said after Wednesday's hearing. "It is a pox on both houses... and nobody is going to win that case.”
