Cancer-Stricken Abby Lee Miller Tans Herself In Wheelchair
Abby Lee Miller has always loved looking healthy and tan, but during her cancer battle, she has had little opportunity to catch some rays.
On Friday, however, the cancer-stricken former Dance Moms star, 51, shared a photo of herself reclining way back in her wheelchair with her face aimed straight at the sun.
Miller wrote as a caption about the searing heat in Los Angeles on July 6, "It's Lit in LA! I have everything I need! Well almost, hey there @tiffanyhaddish where's your Pool Boy? #abbyleemiller #dancemoms #abbylee #aldc #aldcla #spinesurgery."
Although Miller expressed her usual bravado on Instagram, she appeared thin and weak in the wheelchair, wearing a pink tee shirt, black pants, and gray socks.
As RadarOnline.com has reported, it's not the first time the sun worshipper has ventured outside the hospital to tan.
On June 2, Miller posted a photo on Instagram of herself with her head tilted directly at the sunny sky outside her hospital with her eyes closed.
She captioned the shot, "Going outside to feel the sun on my face was wonderful!!!Kids, never take anything in this world for granted! It can all change so suddenly! The Brilliant Dr. B cleared me for sunning this afternoon! Woo Hoo! Thank you sir! #abbylee #dancemoms #aldcla #ALDC."
The day before, on June 1, Miller had shared with fans a throwback photo on Instagram of herself standing by a pool in happier times.

She wrote, "I should be planning a weekend of fun in the sun at the pool! ☀There's nothing I enjoy more than swimming and a good tan! Instead, I start round 3 of chemo......... another battle that I must win!!!"
The ex-reality show star's desperate fight for life began after she spent eight and a half months in prison; she had pled guilty to not reporting an international monetary transaction and one count of concealing bankruptcy assets.
RadarOnline.com exclusively revealed on March 27 that Miller had been transferred from Victorville federal prison to a halfway house in Van Nuys, California. But just days later, Miller's medical crisis began!
Miller was ultimately diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a rare and fast-growing cancer that affects the lymph nodes.
Last Saturday, June 30, the former reality show star was extra-candid about her fight for life, posting a photo on Instagram of a nasty scar on her back from apparent spinal surgery!
But basking in the sun clearly raises her spirits.
