Bristol Palin's Ex Confirms Divorce Finalized: Couple Sharing 50/50 Custody Of Kids

New Teen Mom star Bristol Palin is officially a free woman.

On Thursday, August 2, her now ex-husband Dakota Meyer’s lawyer confirmed to RadarOnline.com exclusively that the two have finalized their divorce, and are sharing 50/50 custody of their kids.

“Mr. Meyer is pleased that the parties have amicably resolved their divorce,” said Texas-based attorney Michael Burnett in a statement to RadarOnline.com.

“Although he is disappointed that he and his wife were unable to make their marriage work, he is pleased that he has an equal possession schedule with their children and that their children will continue to reside in Texas where he lives."

RadarOnline.com readers know that Palin, 27, and baby daddy #2 Meyer, 30, have had ups and downs in their relationship ever since getting engaged in 2015.

The couple split before the birth of daughter Sailor, and went through a nasty custody battle. But they eventually made up and wed in 2016.

Meyer filed for divorce earlier this year, soon after the birth of their second daughter Atlee.

Though they appeared to reconcile in recent months, Palin revealed she was "freshly divorced" and "single forever" in an Instagram Q&A with fans on Wednesday, August 1.

Records in Texas court for the case were sealed soon after their initial filing.

The breakup drama will be sure to play out on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG, since Palin just joined the cast.
