Any hopes Brad Pitt had of wooing back his brilliant MIT architect professor crush have all been dashed now that she's engaged to her billionaire beau!

Bill Ackman, who made his money as a hedge fund guru, asked Neri Oxman for her hand in marriage — and she said yes.

Ackman recently revealed the news at an investor conference in New York City, according to Fast Company.

As RadarOnline.com reported, Pitt, 54, was "totally smitten" with Oxman, 42, after the pair first met when he reached out to the Israeli architectural star and they met up to discuss their shared interests.

After it became clear this past summer that Oxman was getting serious with Ackman, an insider said Pitt refused to give up and had been "calling her nonstop."

Despite moving on, Oxman has nothing but praise for Pitt, who she called "the last of the Mohicans in post-Netflix Hollywood" because "he brings together the timely and the timeless" with his aesthetic.
