Blue Ivy shocked fans when she showed up to a ritzy art auction with her parents, and bid $19,000 for a piece! As RadarOnline.com has learned, the six-year-old raised her paddle to more than one painting at the 2018 Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles. At one point, Jay-Z even tried to hold her hand — jokingly, of course — so she would stop bidding.
"19 for Miss Blue, yes, and she's like, 'I like that,'" host Star Jones told the crowd. "Her mother and father have been talking about how you gather art and that is a big deal for African Americans."
Though Blue Ivy lost the first piece to another bidder, she won the next one — a square piece made of deconstructed law and medical books — for $10,000.
The auction was organized by Beyoncé's mom, Tina Knowles, and her husband Richard Lawson to raise money for a non-profit art and performance complex.
The "Lemonade" singer was honored at the event, as was Jay-Z's mom. Later on, a message by Michelle Obama was displayed on the screen, leaving the crowd ecstatic.
