'My Big Fat Fabulous Life' Star Tells All On Cocaine Addiction: 'I Was Ready To Die!'

My Big Fat Fabulous Life star, Buddy Bell, is coming clean about his cocaine addiction, post-rehab. In a new show clip, Whitney Way Thore's pal claims he was ready to "die an addict" and probably would have if his friends hadn't helped him.

"Truth of the matter is I just started using cocaine recreationally and it got out of hand. I was almost about to fall off a cliff, I was pretty far down that slippery slope," Bell admits in the show clip.

"There were a couple times where my heart felt like it was in danger of overworking. I was ready to die an addict, I just didn't care," he continues.

As RadarOnline.com readers know, Thore spoke of Bell's cocaine habit on a previous episode. There, she gathered her closest friends to tell them of her pal's situation and how he had finally agreed to go to rehab.

"One of the things that my mother said is, she told a story of when I was a little boy and I was crying in bed because I had the realization for the first time that my parents were going to die one day," Bell says to the camera, between tears. "And then she flipped it on me, in the intervention. She told me how she went to bed worrying the same things about me. That was a reality that could have very well happened."

As RadarOnline.com exclusively reported last year, Bell was previously arrested and hit with a series of brutal charges in connection to a 2014 incident. At the time, he was charged with assaulting a government official, second-degree trespassing, resisting a public officer, public intoxication and disorderly conduct. The troubled reality star was then convicted of the disorderly conduct charge, and given a 45-day probation plus a $380 fine.

"I've learned a lot about myself," he said in the teaser, speaking of his recovery.

Now, surrounded by his family and loved ones, Buddy Bell is looking forward to living a long, healthy life.
