Bethenny To Release Tell-All Amid Ex Dennis' Death: 'She Wants To Lay It All Out'
Feb. 25 2019, Updated 11:41 a.m. ET
Bethenny Frankel is considering the idea of releasing a new tell-all book that will highlight the biggest heartbreaks of her life, RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned.
According to a publishing insider, Frankel, 47, may write an autobiography that will detail her past relationships, including her relationship with her late boyfriend, Dennis Shields, her estrangement from her mother, and the loss of her father.
"She just wants to lay it all out there and let people know what she's had to overcome to get to where she is today," the insider admitted.
The informant revealed she isn't planning on announcing the book project just yet. Instead, she plans to wait until her custody battle with ex Jason Hoppy is settled.
"It will be the first book that really delves into Bethenny's personal life. Dennis was a huge wakeup call for her."
As RadarOnline.com previously reported, a court hearing to determine custody of the Real Housewives of New York star's eight-year-old daughter Bryn will be held in March of next year.
Frankel filed documents in December 2017 asking for full custody of Bryn. However, Hoppy later fought the request in the latest hearing to have taken place in August, accusing her of "dangerous parenting."
"Dennis Shields died as a result of a drug overdose," Hoppy's lawyer, Robert Wallack told RadarOnline.com in a statement. "It's been reported that he was addicted to Oxycodone. Considering Mr. Shield's addiction, we have real, legitimate concerns that Ms. Frankel was allowing him to be around Bryn, and to take care of her. This doesn't just constitute a lapse in judgment, this was downright dangerous parenting."
RadarOnline.com has reached Frankel's rep for comment.
