Heartbroken Bethenny Frankel 'Throwing Herself Into Work' After On-Off Boyfriend's OD Death

Bethenny Frankel is reeling from the death of her on-off boyfriend, businessman Dennis Shields — and she's feeling alone in the aftermath of the tragedy, sources exclusively told RadarOnline.com.

After losing her love and her beloved dog Cookie, “Bethenny has almost no one in her life,” an insider revealed. "She doesn't talk to her family, and she's on the outs with some of her best friends."

As RadarOnline.com reported, the Real Housewives of New York City star was blindsided when 51-year-old Shields, who she dated  for two years, was found dead in his Big Apple home after a suspected overdose on prescription pills.

Now, a source told RadarOnline.com, the 47-year-old single mom's ability to “put her emotions in a box and close the lid on them” may actually help her — at least for now.

No one moves on faster than she does. She’s already thrown herself back into her work."

“With Bethenny everything is about making money,” continued the source. “She uses her real life experiences in her businesses. I would be surprised if she releases a self-help book on grief in the next six months.”
