Feud Gets Nastier! Artie Lange Threatens To Post Howard Stern's Private Number

Artie Lange took to social media to blast his former boss, Howard Stern,  on Tuesday in an epic rant where he revealed he had had enough of Stern's "s**t."

While the former Stern Show sidekick remained vague as to what prompted these spontaneous tweets, he began threatening Stern, 63, with releasing his full number unless the Shock Jock would provide him with $2,500.

"Warning Howard Stern: Howard it’s Artie. I’ve had enough of your s**t! Sorry it’s come to this. Unless u send me 2500 dollars cash I will tweet ur personal cell number," Lange wrote in the tweet. "Each day for 10 days on Twitter I will tweet a single digit. Ur number w area code Next tweet is 1st digit-."

The 50-year-old troubled comic continued to taunt Stern following his abrupt social media rant.

"Ha! Who’s the baby gorilla now King of All ppl who’s cell number is known by everyone who follows me on Twitter? See u in Hell!" Lange wrote.

RadarOnline.com reached out to an insider to find out what went down between the two, and it turns out Lange was "just joking."

"He's joking! He has a soft spot for Stern," the insider admitted. "It's like a love-hate relationship, but Artie will always love Stern. The guy always took care of him."

"Artie is just bored," the insider later added.

Lange's latest tweet seemed to confirm this was all in good fun.

"Ok Howard here’s the truth. The money’s not for me. It’s for Gilbert. Money’s tight w him. He was forced to spend the first nickel he ever made. He promised his wife a Hamptons house with a budget of 2500 dollars. So far she can afford the shed Calvin Klein keeps a gay guy in!" Lange wrote.
