A judge granted Artie Lange a new sentencing date after he missed his court appearance Friday due to an emergency nasal infection operation, RadarOnline.com can exclusively confirm.
According to Essex County Prosecutor Kathy Carter, the troubled comedian's court date was pushed back two weeks.
"The case was adjourned to June 1 for sentencing," Carter told RadarOnline.com. "The judge granted the adjournment because of the defendant's health issue and surgery."
Lange's hearing has already been postponed four times since February because of his ongoing struggles with health issues, including diabetes and substance abuse.
In December, Lange, 50, pleaded guilty to heroin possession. He faces up to seven years in prison.
