Music icon Aretha Franklin is in hospice care at her home, RadarOnline.com has learned.
Over the past few days, the Queen of Soul has been battling a grave illness. Thought it has not been revealed what her sickness is, Franklin, 76, has been suffering from pancreatic cancer since 2010.
Though she seemed to be recovering after her initial diagnosis, the horrific illness came back strong just last year.
While the singer has always remained strong and positive amid her struggles, her family fears she may not make it out of this heartbreaking health crisis.
"It's not looking good," Franklin's sister-in-law, Cendia Franklin, exclusively told RadarOnline.com, adding that the legend is currently in her Detroit home, surrounded by her loved ones.
"A lot of her family is around her, supporting her," said the relative.
Franklin's nephew, Tim Franklin, added that all the singer wants now is love and prayers.
"She's requesting prayer, pray for her strength. That's what we are doing," he said in an exclusive RadarOnline.com interview.
He added that his aunt, Aretha Franklin, has never been one to give up, and the entire family is still hoping for a "full recovery."
