Anderson Cooper is weighing in on the Kelly Ripa-Michael Strahan feud! The 48-year-old stopped by Watch What Happens Live Thursday night to dish on the subject.
When a caller asked Cooper if he would ever consider co-hosting Live! With Kelly and Michael, the journalist insisted that he's "very happy at CNN."
"Listen I love Kelly, and Kelly is the heart and soul of that show," the The Rainbow Comes and Goes: A Mother and Son On Life, Love, and Loss author told host Andy Cohen of his pal.
"It's going go on and continue to be great and I wish Michael the best in his new endeavor," he added.
When Cohen pushed him for a definitive answer should he be offered the spot, Cooper admitted: "It would be a dream to work with Kelly but nobody's offering anything ."
Meanwhile, drama continues to ensue on the set of Live.
As RadarOnline.com reported, Ripa was furious with show executives when Strahan, 44, announced his plans to leave Live! after four years without informing her first.
Unfortunately, there may be even more controversy ahead for the Live! team, as RadarOnline.com learned that Strahan will be leaving much sooner than expected — even as early as May 13 !
And now that the former NFL star is officially out, staffers have officially paid allegiance to Team Kelly.
"No one is talking to Michael," a show insider told RadarOnline.com this morning about Strahan.
