Amy Schumer Shows Off Growing Baby Bump After Sudden Hospitalization
Nov. 20 2018, Updated 12:11 p.m. ET
Just four days after Amy Schumer was hospitalized for severe nausea and vomiting during her second trimester, the comedian posted a cheeky photo of her in her hotel room, showing off her growing baby bump — but giving fans some sad news.
"Thanks to Newark and Pittsburgh, I'm so happy to be feeling better and I will be able to continue my tour... However doctors orders not to travel cross country yet so I'm sorry that Seattle, Phoenix and Oakland will need to be postponed. I promise to go see you guys and make up the date real soon..." she captioned the funny shot of her in her sweatpants. "The rest of the tour will go on as planned! Happy Thanksgiving!"
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Schumer, 37, is pregnant with her first child, by husband Chris Fischer. The two married this February in a surprise ceremony — attended by a list of celebrities — in Malibu.
And while the beauty cannot wait to become a mom, she's been very candid about the difficulties she's faced throughout her pregnancy.
Earlier this month — after being nominated for two People's Choice Awards — Schumer took to Twitter to thank her fans and update them on her current health. "Thank you for nominating me for a couple @peopleschoice awards. I wish I could have been there but all i do is standup and puke right now," she joked.
Then, a few days later, she was sent straight to the E.R. to receive treatment for her hyperemesis.
"Texas I am so deeply sorry. I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule. I am in the hospital. I'm fine. Baby's fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story," she captioned a photo of her lying on a hospital bed. "I've been even more ill this trimester. I have hyperemesis and it blows. Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bullshit! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me and Tati! They are cool as hell! And Texas I am really really sorry and I'll be out there as soon as I'm better."
While Schumer hoped she wouldn't have to cancel any more shows due to her difficult pregnancy, she announced this Monday that she will unfortunately have to postpone her Seattle, Phoenix and Oakland shows until she is given the "ok" by her doctors.
Feel better Amy Schumer!
