Aly Raisman may have revealed Colton Underwood's true colors a year before it was announced he would be the next star of The Bachelor, RadarOnline.com has learned. The 24-year-old gymnast, who dated underwood from 2016 to 2017, admitted that a former NFL player treated her horribly.

"A professional athlete I’ d been talking to for a while had invited me to visit him and watch one of his games — and after the debacle at Worlds, I figured I could use a distraction," Raisman wrote in her book Fierce. "Saturday went well. The guy was attentive and fun, and we seemed to be having a good time. But when I met him Sunday after his game, he had turned into a completely different person."

While she doesn't identify Underwood by name, Raisman detailed the time her and a "professional athlete" were in the car driving back from his football game when he humiliated her. Raisman says she met up with him after the World's championships in October of 2015, around the time she began dating the 26-year-old.

"We were in his car when I made a move to change the radio station," she wrote. "'Don’ t touch the music,' he snapped. I thought he was joking, so I continued to reach for the stereo buttons. 'I’ m not kidding — don’ t touch it,' he said sharply. 'I just played a game, and you just sat and watched. You haven’ t done anything today. So we’ re going to listen to this sports radio station. I want to hear what they say about me.' I sat silently for the rest of the car ride. I couldn’t wait to get out. I felt embarrassed, but also angry that I had traveled to see someone who treated me so disrespectfully."

She added, "He was glued to his phone and ignored me as we sat and ate dinner. When I left for the airport, he hardly said good-bye."

Underwood previously admitted his relationship with the star gymnast ultimately didn't work out due to 'distance,' but it seems it could've been due to the way he treated her.

Underwood was chosen as The Bachelor for the hit ABC show after he was sent home by Bachelorette Becca Kufrin, only to go to on Bachelor in Paradise and break former contestant Tia Booth's heart.

The choice to make Underwood The Bachelor was met with mixed response by fans, as many felt he dumped Booth for the role.

On Bachelor in Paradise, Booth's friend Raven Yates warned her, "I just don’t think his intentions are good,” she said. “First of all, Colton’s past dating history has been the It Girl. You’re the It Girl from your season, and he reached out to you. And then he went on Becca’s season, and now he’s back with you. All of his actions have said something different… You have to really see the true person that Colton is.”
