Leaving LA! ‘Alaskan Bush’ Boys Get Heartfelt Tattoos on Last Day

It’s been a year of uncertainty for the Alaskan Bush People cast as matriarch Ami Brown’s cancer diagnosis uprooted the family to Los Angeles. But RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned that a couple Brown boys celebrated their final day in LA doing something that will last a lifetime: they received fresh new ink!

Dave H., owner of Generation8Tattoo exclusively told RadarOnline.com that patriarch, Billy and two of his sons, Gabe and Bear, walked into his Los Angeles tattoo parlor around 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

“It was just the three of them,” the tattoo shop owner told RadarOnline.com. “They were a positive family to be around especially given what they’re going through.”

The Browns have been divided all around the country in recent months given Ami’s cancer treatment, RadarOnline.com reported.

Dave said Billy and Gabe came in with the purpose of getting tattoos that seemed to have significant meaning behind them. Dad Billy opted for a quote that he received on his upper arm in black.

“It said, ‘Not all who wander are lost, stay the course,’” Dave told RadarOnline.com. “It was pretty personal.”

He added: “It seemed like it definitely meant a lot to him. He seemed so happy to get it. I think it’s because he’s on the ocean a lot and maybe he misses that.”

Meanwhile, Gabe received a treble clef music note on his hand.

Dave – a self-proclaimed “big fan” of the show – said the three boys mentioned to him that it was their final day in LA before they were onto their next adventure.

“They said they were leaving very soon,” said Dave. “They didn’t mention where they were going, but of course, Bear said he wanted to go climb some buildings before they left.”

The tattoo owner added that both Billy and Gabe “sat like rocks” while getting their new marks. And, to his surprise, the boys were just as down to earth as they appear on camera.

“It seems like they have old family values. In a place like LA, that’s few and far between,” said Dave.

The owner was also taken by surprise when he offered to give the three access to the shop’s WiFi.

“I asked if they wanted WiFi and they didn’t even know what I was talking about!” Dave remarked. “Billy tried to do it and it was kind of cool to see someone so unattached. The three of them weren’t on their phones at all.”

Although the TV stars did not mention to Dave exactly where their next journey will take them, the three men did seem to be leaving the Sunshine State with positive vibes.

“You can tell they love one another,” he said. “They seem very bonded.”

As RadarOnline.com reported, Ami’s health has greatly improved in recent months. The reality mom was given a 3% chance of survival by doctors last year, and she recently revealed she’s gained 30 pounds.
